Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American actor-producer and stage actress is known for playing in the film Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She received a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch school of the arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer, who has been active in films theater and on television. Her career began as an actress in theatre before going on to appear in many television series, mainstream and independent films. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. On Broadway, she has appeared in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. When it comes to film, she is most well-known for her performances in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her most well-known role is her part in ABC's crime show High Incident.
