Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents within the first round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting a black mark on Ladd's record for amateur. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. InvictaFC 11 was her debut professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's debut fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized the skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. Aspen ended the fight with a an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen continued to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight with the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the second. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the first round and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she's ever had in any significant capacity. Both the fighters put on a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd winning via unanimous decision and each fighter getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision against her.
