Lady Gaga is an American actor, singer, songwriter and musician with an estimated value of $320 million. Lady Gaga, also known as Stefani Joanne Angelina Gerotta began her professional career as a musical theatre and burlesque performer in the East Village in New York and was reportedly trying to follow the path of nightclub entertainers who have become famous such as Bette Midler or Madonna. She was a struggle for a number of years, but finally started to get her feet moving in 2005 when she recorded her debut album and creating songs for other artists like Britney Spears, Fergie, and the Pussycat Dolls. Her first album, "The Fame", did not appear to be particularly successful. However, just five months after it was released, "Just Dance", her first single, went on to become an international hit. She had been relentlessly touring Europe and the smaller clubs of the US. By 2009, a number of songs from the album were playing on radio stations. In recognition of her dedication to the music she was awarded multiple Grammy nominations and two Grammy Awards. She has been producing great music and made headlines since the time she released her album. She's a vocal activist for social justice as well as an exhibitionist who is given particular attention at awards shows.
